PEABODY ISSUES THE COWBELL CHALLENGE.
Mister Peabody's audience at Spikes in Faribault, MN experienced an
earth-shattering cowbell performance last week (6/12/10) as a virtually unknown
cowbellist (cowbellista?) known simply as "Heather" added a new
chapter to music history. Her mind bending display involved playing the cowbell,
in time, while doing one-arm push ups. As a result, national
recording artists Mister Peabody have formally issued a challenge to all takers
daring them to break new ground in cowbell performance. Participants are
expected to integrate solid cowbell fundamentals into an incendiary physical
performance. In other words, play in time, and give the people a show. The
band seeks to push cowbell artists to their limits, and raise the art of cowbell
in general. The Peabody Cowbell Challenge
will take place at each and every Peabody performance, starting with the band's
next show at The Basement in Prior Lake on Saturday, June19th.
